信實/Faithfuness

萬物的創造主是神聖信實的，所以從聖靈而生的信徒，

做為神兒女，也應當是信實的，

要約束自己，謹守自己向神所許的承諾；

也許有肉體軟弱的時候，

然而，神看重的是我們獻上的心意，

神喜悅我們倚靠祂所賜的恩典與供應，

以耐心與毅力持守向祂所許下的承諾。

對於人們而言，如果有人不能信守對我們的承諾，

我們都會覺得不被重視，何況是對創造宇宙萬物的神如此呢？

我們不要在人前做表面功夫，私下卻草率或不了了之，

這是對神的不敬與藐視。讓我們以信實回應神的信實。

“人若向耶和華許願或起誓，要約束自己，

就不可食言，必要按口中所出的一切話行。”

民數記 30:2 CUNP-神

“如果有人輕率地說：“這是歸神為聖之物”，

 許願以後才重新考慮，就是自陷網羅。”

箴言 20:25 CNV

“你向神許願，償還不可遲延，因祂不喜悅愚昧人，

所以你許的願應當償還。 你許願不還，不如不許。 

不可任你的口使肉體犯罪，也不可在祭司面前說是錯許了。

為何使神因你的聲音發怒，敗壞你手所做的呢？”

多夢和多言，其中多有虛幻，你只要敬畏神。”

The Creator of the universe is divine and faithful, 

so believers, who are born of the Holy Spirit,

  the children of God, should also be faithful.

 Constrain yourself and keep your promises to God.

 Maybe there are times the flesh is weak,

 however, what God values ​​is our dedication.

 God pleases that we rely on His grace and provision,

 persevere with patience and stamina to keep the promises we made to Him.

 As for human, if someone can’t keep their promise to us,

we feel that we are not valued, let alone the Lord who created the universe?

 We shouldn’t do superficial work in front of people,

 but hastily or failing to do it in private.

 This is disrespect and despise God.  

Let us respond to God's faithfulness with faithfulness.

“If a man vows a vow to the Lord, 

or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge,

 he shall not break his word. 

He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.”

Numbers 30:2 ESV

“It is a snare to say rashly, “It is holy,”

 and to reflect only after making vows.”

Proverbs 20:25 ESV

“When you make a promise to God,

 don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools.

 Keep all the promises you make to him.

 It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it.

 Don’t let your mouth make you sin. 

And don’t defend yourself by telling the Temple messenger

 that the promise you made was a mistake. 

That would make God angry, 

and he might wipe out everything you have achieved. 

Talk is cheap, like daydreams and other useless activities. 

Fear God instead.”

 for you have voluntarily vowed to the Lord your God

 what you have promised with your mouth.”
