止住怒氣/Stop The Anger

我們都有情緒，特別是當別人錯待我們，當痛苦的事情發生，

或是，當我們看到不公不義的事情的時候，很容易我們就會心懷不平，

然而，聖經告訴我們不要會作惡的心懷不平。

原先我對於不要心懷不平的理解是 - 

要我們完全相信公義的神會審判，照各人所為而報應各人。

然而，神讓我們不要心懷不平，乃是為了顧念我們，

因為，當我們心懷不平的時候，我們就會有怒氣，

有了怒氣難免會有惡念頭，惡念本身就是不討神喜悅的事情，

何況是做出來，成為不可收拾的後果。

所以，當遇上不平之事，我們要記得止住怒氣，免得做悪。

“不要為作惡的心懷不平， 也不要向那行不義的生出嫉妒。”

詩篇 37:1 CUNP-神

“你當默然倚靠耶和華，耐性等候祂； 

不要因那道路通達的和那惡謀成就的心懷不平。”

詩篇 37:7 CUNP-神

“當止住怒氣，離棄忿怒；不要心懷不平，以致作惡。”

詩篇 37:8 CUNP-神

“生氣卻不要犯罪；不可含怒到日落， 也不可給魔鬼留地步。”

以弗所書 4:26-27 CUNP-神

“我－耶和華是鑒察人心、試驗人肺腑的， 

要照各人所行的和他做事的結果報應他。”

耶利米書 17:10 CUNP-神

“我的神啊，我樂意照祢的旨意行； 祢的律法在我心裏。”

We all have emotions, especially when others treat us wrongly,

when we encounter painful things in life.

 Or, when we see injustice, it’s easy for us to feel agonized and fretted.

 However, the Bible tells us not to be fret over the evildoers.

 My original understanding of not to be fret over the evildoers was 

 because God wants us fully trust in His righteousness

 that He will judge and will repay everyone according to what they have done.

 However, God wants us not to be fretted is actually to care for us.

 Because when we feel injustice, we get angry.

 When we have anger, we will inevitably have evil thoughts,

 and evil thoughts do not please God.

 What's more, if it is done, it becomes an unmanageable consequence to us.

 Therefore, when encountering injustice,

 we must remember to stop our anger so as not to do evil.

“Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers!”

Psalm 37:1 ESV

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;

 fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, 

over the man who carries out evil devices! 

Psalm 37:7 ESV

Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! 

Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.”

Psalm 37:8 ESV

“Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

 and give no opportunity to the devil.”

Ephesians 4:26-27 ESV

““I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, 

to give every man according to his ways, 

according to the fruit of his deeds.””

Jeremiah 17:10 ESV

“I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.””
