轉眼不看虛假/Turn My Eyes From Looking At Worthless Things

當我們的眼目專注在那些不為神帶來榮耀的事物上，

我們的心是不會處在屬天的平安裏的。

舉個例子，一個人一直專注在煽情灑狗血的疫情或政治事件上，

甚至轉發社交媒體，並不斷地有話要說，結果在惡性循環下，

於是，他/她不僅自己心情受報導的影響而恐慌，憤怒或建立起恨意，

他/她也影響了其他人，激起負面情緒，使人心惶惶不得平安。

所以，求神幫助我們每一天都來調整我們的眼目，

叫我們轉眼不看所有虛妄無意義的事，

只單單仰望神的道，祂的話語帶給我們的是永恆的盼望與平安。

「邪僻的事，我都不擺在我眼前； 

悖逆人所做的事，我甚恨惡， 不容沾在我身上。 

彎曲的心思，我必遠離； 一切的惡人 ，我不認識。」

When our eyes are focused on things that do not bring glory to God,

our hearts will not be in the state of heavenly peace.

For example, a person has been fixed his/her eyes on 

the outbreak of pandemic or political scandals,

even retweeted social media, and kept having words to say about it.

The result was in a vicious circle,

that he or she not only became anxious, angry, or maybe build up hatred. 

When his or her mood is affected by the news,

He or she also influences others, and stirs up negative emotions.

Thus cause people uneasy and have no peace.

Therefore, let us ask God to help us to adjust our focus every day.

Fixing our eyes not to look at all the nonsense and worthless things,

but to focus only on the Word of God.

 The Word of God brings us eternal hope and peace.

“I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless.

 I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.

 A perverse heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil.”

Psalm 101:3-4 ESV

“Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; 

and give me life in your ways.”

“I rise before dawn and cry for help; I hope in your words. 

My eyes are awake before the watches of the night,
