糾正不是懲罰/Correction Is Not Punishment
愛子女的父母在觀察到孩子有偏差的行為或觀念時會指導糾正，
雖然錯誤被指出，或許會令孩子當下覺得不開心，甚至有憤怒，
然而，主旨是為了引導孩子走向正向並且擁有美好人生。
因此，糾正不是為了要懲罰。
神也管教祂所愛的人！
神是信徒們的天父，
祂的管教是為了糾正祂的兒女，
好使我們分別為聖，並走向真理，
使我們行事為人是以基督的心為心，更臻於完善。
「因為主所愛的，祂必管教， 又鞭打凡所收納的兒子。
你們所忍受的，是神管教你們，待你們如同待兒子。
焉有兒子不被父親管教的呢？ 管教原是眾子所共受的。
你們若不受管教，就是私子，不是兒子了。
再者，我們曾有生身的父管教我們，我們尚且敬重他，
何況萬靈的父，我們豈不更當順服祂得生嗎？
生身的父都是暫隨己意管教我們；
惟有萬靈的父管教我們，是要我們得益處，使我們在祂的聖潔上有分。
凡管教的事，當時不覺得快樂，反覺得愁苦；
後來卻為那經練過的人結出平安的果子，就是義。」
希伯來書 12:6-11 CUNP-神
Parents who love their children will guide and correct them
when they observe their children’s deviant behaviors or their wrong values.
Although the mistake is pointed out,
it may make the child feel unhappy or even angry right at the moment.
However, the main purpose is
to guide the child to a correct direction, and have a better life.
Therefore, Correction is not for punishment.
God also disciplines those He loves!
God is the heavenly Father of believers,
His discipline is to correct His children,
So that we can be set apart to be holy and going toward the truth.
It is to make us behave with the mind of Christ,
and to reach the perfect goodness.
“For the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”
It is for discipline that you have to endure.
God is treating you as sons.
For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated,
then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us
and we respected them.
Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live?
For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them,
but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness.
For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant,
but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness
to those who have been trained by it.”
