由裡至外的平安/Peace From The Inside Out

靈裏的平安不是只安靜止息，不動也不做什麼，

而是我們止息為了去做什麼才是我們生命中最重要的。

是把我們的心思意念從攪擾我們的事物中停止並放下，

將注意力轉移向神，向神祈禱說話，向神敬拜讚美，

閱讀聖經，從神的話語裡面得安慰，得平安和得鼓勵。

好比說健康是身體的平安，但並不是身體靜止不動，

乃是身體各器官運行自如，血液循環活動著。

我們若要有屬靈生命的健康，就要有來自神的平安，

這平安唯有與神有親密關係極致的互動可獲得，

有祂的話語在我們靈魂裡自由運行。

“因此，我們自從聽見的日子，也就為你們不住地禱告祈求，

願你們在一切屬靈的智慧悟性上，滿心知道神的旨意； 

好叫你們行事為人對得起主，凡事蒙祂喜悅，在一切善事上結果子，

漸漸地多知道神； 照祂榮耀的權能，得以在各樣的力上加力，

好叫你們凡事歡歡喜喜地忍耐寬容；”

歌羅西書 1:9-11 CUNP-神

The peace found in the Spirit is not just resting and doing nothing.

When we pause, we do it in order to do what is the most important thing in life.  

It is to stop and let go of whatever troubles are on our minds

 and to turn our attention to God:

To pray and speak to God, to worship and praise God, to read the Bible,

 to get comfort and peace from God’s Word, and to get encouragement.

For example, health is the peace of of our physical body, 

but it does not mean that the body is inactive;

 it means that all of our organs are operating properly, 

and our blood continues to circulate.  

If we want to have spiritual health, we must have peace from God. 

This peace can only be obtained through this interaction with God, 

and with His Word circulating in our souls freely.

“And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, 

asking that you may be filled with the knowledge 

of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 

so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: 

bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 

being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, 

for all endurance and patience with joy;”

Colossians 1:9-11 ESV

“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, 

open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.”

James 3:17 ESV

“And the effect of righteousness will be peace, 

and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.”

Isaiah 32:17 ESV

“But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith

 and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God,

 waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.”
