善/Goodness

偶然讀到這段話：「未經他人苦，莫勸他人善；你若經我苦，未必有我善。」

看似有理，然而，字裡行間蘊藏的卻是苦毒，及自我辯解，這是現今世界的觀點。

但是，感謝神！我們若是信靠祂，我們不必因為經過苦而要不善，

在主的愛與憐憫裡，我們知道祂是公義的神，祂必為受屈的人申冤。

我們的善在於我們是誰，而不是在於其他人的作為來決定我們是否為善。

如果我們相信並服從神的主權，那麼我們就可以經歷苦而不苦毒，

我們也不必在意別人是否未必有我善了。

我們的關注是無論如何都與人為善，又不加害於人。

所以，我們不要效法這世界，只要遵從神的教導。

“不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，

叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。”

羅馬書 12:2 CUNP-神

“耶和華施行公義， 為一切受屈的人伸冤。”

詩篇 103:6 CUNP-神

“親愛的弟兄，不要自己伸冤，寧可讓步，聽憑主怒 ；

因為經上記着：「主說：『伸冤在我，我必報應。』」”

“你不可為惡所勝，反要以善勝惡。”

“聖靈所結的果子，就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、

良善、信實、 溫柔、節制。這樣的事沒有律法禁止。”

加拉太書 5:22-23 CUNP-神

I saw this passage by chance : "Don't persuade others to be good without suffering what others have been through ; 

if you experience my suffering, you may not be as good as I."

 It seems make sense ,

 but what lies between the lines is bitterness and self-justification.

 This is the view of the world today.

 But thank God that if we believe in Him, 

we don’t have to be bitter due to our suffering.

 In the love and mercy of the Lord, we know that He is a righteous God,

 and He will vindicate the oppressed.

 Our goodness lies in who we are, 

not in the actions of others to determine whether we are good or not.

 If we believe in God, and surrender to God’s sovereignty, 

then we can experience suffering without being bitter.

We shouldn’t care whether others may not be as good as us

 Our concern is to be kind to others as always, and do not harm others.

 Therefore, we do not conform to this world,

 but we will follow the teachings of God.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, 

but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. 

Then you will be able to test and approve 

what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Romans 12:2 NIV

“The Lord works righteousness 

and justice for all who are oppressed.”

Psalm 103:6 ESV

“Beloved, never avenge yourselves, 

but leave it to the wrath of God, 

for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, 

I will repay, says the Lord.””
