喜樂的盼望/A joyous Hope
我們是否像孩子們一般地期待聖誕節的來到？通常孩子們在聖誕夜都乖乖聽話，早早上床睡覺，滿懷希望，滿心歡喜地期待第二天早晨聖誕節的到來；然後，在聖誕節當天早上起個大早，開開心心地等待開聖誕禮物。作為信徒的我們也是有盼望的，因為神的應許無論如何都會實現，主耶穌基督也將再次榮耀地顯現，我們當定睛在永不改變的神，而非定睛在世界的混亂不安，以致憂愁恐慌，我們當滿有信心及滿心歡喜地期待每一天，因為主再來的日子沒有人知道，每一天都可能是祂再來的日子。
“因為神救眾人的恩典已經顯明出來， 教訓我們除去不敬虔的心和世俗的情慾，在今世自守、公義、敬虔度日， 等候所盼望的福，並等候至大的神和我們 救主耶穌基督的榮耀顯現。 他為我們捨了自己，要贖我們脫離一切罪惡，又潔淨我們，特作自己的子民，熱心為善。” - 提多書 2:11-14
“從此以後，有公義的冠冕為我存留，就是按着公義審判的主到了那日要賜給我的；不但賜給我，也賜給凡愛慕祂顯現的人。” - 提摩太後書 4:8

Do we look forward to Christmas like children? Usually children go to bed early on Christmas Eve. They are hopeful, happy, and looking forward to Christmas to come the next morning. Then they get up early on Christmas Day, looking forward to the opening of the Christmas gifts. As believers, we also have hope, because God’s promises will be fulfilled no matter what. And the Lord Jesus Christ will appear again in glory. We should focus on the immutable God, not on the chaos and restlessness of the world, which only leads to sorrow and anxiety. Look forward to every day with confidence and joy, because no one knows the day when the Lord returns, and every day may be the day when He returns.
