盡本份/Do Your Part
最近看到一場籃球比賽，兩隊平分秋色，
在最後一秒一個球員拿到球，在過對方球場中線處，
在計時器顯示0秒前，急速轉身跳起一投，
竟然，進籃得分，他自己難掩興奮之情，
不可思議地跑向觀眾席手舞足蹈地大喊！
所有正走出球場悻悻然的球員們也都驚呆了！
一場賽事沒人知道結果到底如何，
這偶有的驚喜豈是人所能預料的！
這個球員只是盡其所能做了所當做的，
結果不是他能掌控的。
人心常常想去控制我們無法控制的人事物，
卻忽略了我們有時甚至連自己都控制不住；
唯有專注在我們自己本分當做的事情，
然後將其餘的藉著禱告交托給神，
我們就不必為那些不在我們的控制之內的人事物上操勞憂心了。
要知道即使洪水翻騰，耶和華仍然坐著為王掌管一切宇宙萬物。
「你們眾民當時時倚靠祂， 在祂面前傾心吐意；
神是我們的避難所。 （細拉）」

Recently I saw a basketball game. The two teams are equally good!
In the last second, right at cross the half court line but not too much,
a player got the ball,
He quickly turned around and jumped up shooting the ball toward the basket,
right before the buzzer horned and timer showed 0 second.
The ball got in! He scored for his team.
He couldn't hide his excitement.
He ran toward the audience, dancing and shouting!
All the players who were walking off the court were stunned!
No one knows what the outcome will be in a sports game.
No one has expected this occasional surprise happening!
This player just did his part,
The result was not something he can control.
People often want to control things that we can't control,
but ignore that we sometimes can't even control ourselves.
Only should we focus on what our part is and do it,
and entrust the rest to God through prayers.
Then we don't have to worry about whatever aren't under our control.
Even if the flood billows,
the LORD still sits enthroned, and He reigns over all things in the universe.
