再見/Goodbye

跟隨耶穌意味著什麼呢？

是每天讀經禱告，週日上教堂，

以他為榜樣，活出美好嗎？

跟隨主耶穌基督最關鍵的是 - 

和「自己」說再見。

放下自己的想法，以基督的意念為意念，

放下自己的私慾，以神的旨意為我們的命令。

跟隨主耶穌基督是與祂緊緊相連，

如枝子連於葡萄樹，

活著的不再是我，乃是祂在我們裏面活。

讓我們每天做出決定告別自我，

選擇跟隨主耶穌基督。

「耶穌沿著 加利利 湖邊行走的時候，

看見被稱為彼得的西門和安得烈兩兄弟正在撒網打魚，

他們是漁夫。

 耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我！我要使你們成為得人的漁夫。」 

他們立刻撇下漁網，跟從了耶穌。 

耶穌再往前走，又看見雅各和約翰兩兄弟

正和父親西庇太一起在船上補漁網。

耶穌呼召他們， 他們馬上離開漁船，

辭別父親，跟從了耶穌。」

「「同樣，你們若不撇下一切，就不能作我的門徒。」

「我已經與基督同釘十字架，

現在活着的不再是我，乃是基督在我裏面活着；

並且我如今在肉身活着，是因信神的兒子而活；

他是愛我，為我捨己。」

What does it mean to follow Jesus?

 Is it reading the Bible and praying every day?

Is it going to church on Sundays?

Or, with him as an example to live out a good life?

 The most critical thing to follow the Lord Jesus Christ is —

 Say goodbye to “self.”

 Let go of our thoughts and take the mind of Christ as ours.

 Let go of our own desires and take God's will as our command.

 Following the Lord Jesus Christ is closely connected with Him,

 like branches connected to the vine.

 It is no longer I who live, but He lives in me.

Let us make that decision every day to say goodbye to ourselves,

and choose to follow the Lord Jesus Christ.

“While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, 

Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, 

casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.

 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 

Immediately they left their nets and followed him.

 And going on from there he saw two other brothers, 

James the son of Zebedee and John his brother,

 in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, 

and he called them. Immediately they left the boat

 and their father and followed him.”

Matthew 4:18-22 ESV

“So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all 

that he has cannot be my disciple.”

Luke 14:33 ESV

“I have been crucified with Christ.

 It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. 

And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, 

who loved me and gave himself for me.”
