一個人嘴裡說相信神，卻不斷追求惡的絕對不是悔改的表現，因為一個屬神的人是心意更新而變化的，是追求良善的，知道這是神所喜悅的。

「親愛的，不要效法惡，只要效法善。行善的人屬乎上帝；行惡的人未曾見過上帝。」

約翰三書 1:11

「信心也是這樣，若沒有行為是死的。

你信上帝只有一位，你信得很好；連鬼魔也信，且怕得發抖。 你這虛浮的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是沒有用的嗎？」雅各書 2:17, 19-20 

「世人哪，耶和華已指示你何為善。 祂向你所要的是什麼呢？ 只要你行公義，好憐憫， 存謙卑的心，與你的神同行。」彌迦書 6:8

「你們要結出果子來，和悔改的心相稱。」馬太福音 3:8

「所以，弟兄們，我以上帝的慈悲勸你們，將身體獻上當作活祭，是聖潔的，是上帝所喜悅的，你們如此事奉乃是理所當然的 。 不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為上帝的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。」羅馬書 12:1-2

It is definitely not an expression of repentance that a person says that he believes in God, but he keeps pursuing evil.  Because a person, who belongs to God, is renewed and transformed in his mind to pursue good, knowing that this is pleasing to God.

“Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.” 3 John 1:11 ESV

“So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?” James 2:17, 19-20 NLT

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8 NIV

“Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.” Matthew 3:8 NIV

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”Romans 12:1-2 ESV
