有些人慣性說謊卻不自覺，為了不想解釋，為了隱瞞事實結果有以謊言代替，其實有些事不需要說或不想說就不說，但不要撒謊，也免得無法自圓其說，聖經的教導是不可撒謊，因為撒旦是謊言之父，信徒是屬神的兒女，要以心靈和誠實來敬拜神，如果撒謊了，向神認罪悔改，並把這個壞習慣改掉，求神憐憫赦免，每天比之前一天活出更良善美好。

“耶和華所恨惡的有六樣， 祂心所憎惡的共有七樣： 就是高傲的眼，撒謊的舌， 殺害無辜的手， 圖謀惡計的心， 飛奔行惡的腳， 口吐謊言的假證人， 並在弟兄間散播紛爭的人。” 箴言 6:16-19

“義人恨惡謊言； 惡人有臭名，且致慚愧。”箴言 13:5

“說謊言的嘴為耶和華所憎惡； 行事誠實的，為祂所喜悅。”箴言 12:22

“所以，你們要棄絕謊言，各人與鄰舍說實話，因為我們是互相為肢體。”以弗所書 4:25

“我們若認自己的罪，上帝是信實的，是公義的，必要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。”約翰一書 1:9

Some people habitually lie without self-awareness. In order to not explain, or to conceal the facts, they lie. In fact, there are some things that needn’t to be said. We may just not want to share something. However, we should not lie. But, if we do, it can’t be justified. Because Satan is the father of lies, but believers are the children of God. We ought to worship God in spirit and in truth. If we lie, we need to confess our sins to God, and then correct this bad habit. Ask God for mercy and forgiveness. Every day we need to strive to live out goodness, and to be better than the day before.

“There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” Proverbs 6:16-19 ESV

“You destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.” Psalm 5:6 ESV

“The righteous hates falsehood, but the wicked brings shame and disgrace.”Proverbs 13:5 ESV

“The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in those who tell the truth.”Proverbs 12:22 NLT
