我們的神是滿有憐憫與慈愛的神，是我們的阿爸父，但祂所愛的祂也必管教，如果我們行叉踏錯了，只要我們回轉，祂必引導我們，將我們重新建立，賜我們有盼望的未來。

「他們要哭泣而來。 我要照他們懇求的引導他們， 使他們在河水旁走正直的路， 在其上不致絆跌； 因為我是以色列的父， 以法蓮是我的長子。」耶利米書 31:9

耶和華說： 以法蓮是我的愛子嗎？ 是可喜悅的孩子嗎？ 我每逢責備他，仍深顧念他； 所以我的心腸戀慕他； 我必要憐憫他。」耶利米書 31:20

「我先前怎樣看守他們，為要拔出、拆毀、毀壞、傾覆、苦害，也必照樣看守他們，為要建立、栽植。這是耶和華說的。」耶利米書 31:28

「耶和華說：我知道我向你們所懷的意念是賜平安的意念，不是降災禍的意念，要叫你們末後有指望。 你們要呼求我，禱告我，我就應允你們。 你們尋求我，若專心尋求我，就必尋見。」耶利米書 29:11-13

Our God is a compassionate and loving God. He is our Abba Father. However, He who loves us will also discipline us, if we get off track. But, as long as we turn back to Him, He will guide us and restore us. He will give us hope for the future.

“With weeping they shall come, and with pleas for mercy I will lead them back, I will make them walk by brooks of water, in a straight path in which they shall not stumble, for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.” Jeremiah 31:9 ESV

“ “Is not Israel still my son, my darling child?” says the Lord. “I often have to punish him, but I still love him. That’s why I long for him and surely will have mercy on him.”

“And it shall come to pass that as I have watched over them to pluck up and break down, to overthrow, destroy, and bring harm, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, declares the Lord. ” Jeremiah 31:28 ESV

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13 ESV
