以弗所書 6:13-17 告訴信徒要穿戴全副軍裝與靈界的惡魔爭戰，經文這麼說的：「所以，要拿起上帝所賜的全副軍裝，好在邪惡的日子能抵擋仇敵，並且完成了一切後還能站立得住。 所以，要站穩了，用真理當作帶子束腰，用公義當作護心鏡遮胸， 又用和平的福音當作預備走路的鞋穿在腳上。 此外，要拿信德當作盾牌，用來撲滅那惡者一切燒著的箭。 要戴上救恩的頭盔，拿著聖靈的寶劍—就是上帝的道。」

因為能夠讓我們抵擋仇敵的是我們的主耶穌基督，祂就是我們的真理，公義，就是我們那代罪羔羊，使我們與神連結，舊事已過，都變成新的，我們既然是新造人，就當深化認識及愛神，我們需要在彼此間談論神的真理，相互代禱，分享神的信實及愛，懂得分辨真理與謊言，所以我們要「披戴基督」，以基督的心為心，穿上神所賜的全副軍裝，不單是保護我們自己，也是彼此的後衞。因為主耶穌基督已經勝過一切，所以我們是踏著勝利的步伐出發去爭戰。

「又塗抹了在律例上所寫、攻擊我們、有礙於我們的字據，把它撤去，釘在十字架上。」歌羅西書 2:14

「因他使我們和睦 ，將兩下合而為一，拆毀了中間隔斷的牆； 而且以自己的身體廢掉冤仇，就是那記在律法上的規條，為要將兩下藉着自己造成一個新人， 如此便成就了和睦。 既在十字架上滅了冤仇，便藉這十字架使兩下歸為一體，與上帝和好了，」 以弗所書 2:14-16

Ephesians 6:13-17 tells believers to wear the full armor of God to fight against the demons in the spirit world. The scripture says: “Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so that you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

Because the one who can resist the enemy is our Lord Jesus Christ. He is our truth and righteousness, our scapegoat that connects us to God. The old thing has gone and all become new. Since we are a new creation, we ought to deepen our knowledge and love of God. We need to talk about God’s truth with each other, intercede for each other, share God’s faithfulness and love, and know how to distinguish truth from lies, so we must "put on Christ" and have the mind of Jesus Christ. Let us put on the full armor of God, not only to protect ourselves, but also to defend each other. Because the Lord Jesus Christ has conquered everything, so we are marching out to fight at the pace of victory.
