認識一個人需要時間，認識主耶穌基督也是如此，我們要花時間來認識祂，就是接受祂通過祂的話語（顯示在聖經）要告訴我們的。讓以下的經文成為我們的禱告。
It takes time to know a person, and the same is true of knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. We need to spend time to get to know HIM by perceiving what HE wants to tell us through HIS Word (shown in the Bible). Let the following scriptures be our prayer today.
「我曾一心尋求祢， 求祢不要使我偏離祢的命令。 我將祢的話藏在心裏， 免得我得罪祢。 耶和華啊，祢是應當稱頌的！ 求祢將祢的律例教導我！ 我用嘴唇傳揚 祢口中一切的典章。 我喜愛祢的法度， 如同喜愛一切的財物。 我要默想祢的訓詞， 看重祢的道路。 我要以祢的律例為樂， 我不忘記祢的話。 求祢用厚恩待祢的僕人，使我存活， 我就遵守祢的話。 求祢開我的眼睛， 使我看出祢律法中的奇妙。 我在地上是寄居的人， 求祢不要向我隱藏祢的命令！ 我時常切慕祢的典章， 耗盡心力。」詩篇 119:10-20
「With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes! With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth. In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live and keep your word. Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. I am a sojourner on the earth; hide not your commandments from me! My soul is consumed with longing for your rules at all times.」Psalm 119:10-20 ESV
