偶爾聽到一對父女的對話，爸爸對著女兒侃侃而談，然後問了個問題，女兒放下手中的手機回答：我聽見你說話，但是我沒聽到你說什麼。聽見聲音，和注意傾聽是兩回事，我們是否也常常這樣？來到神面前卻沒有與神同在，到主日禮拜或查經班卻沒心在傾聽與學習主的話語。花時間專注在神的話語上，我們才能真正不單單聽見但聽到神要向我們說的話並且與祂真實連結。

「他們卻不聽從，也不側耳而聽，竟隨從自己的計謀和頑梗的惡心去行，不進反退。」耶利米書 7:24 RCUV

「現在，因你們行了這一切的事，我一再警戒你們，你們卻不聽從；我呼喚你們，你們也不回應。這是耶和華說的。」耶利米書 7:13 RCUV

I over heard a conversation between a father and a daughter. The father was talking to his daughter freely and asked a question. The daughter put down her cell phone in her hands and answered: I hear you talking , but I’m not listening. Hearing sounds and paying attention listening are two different things. Do we often do this as well? When we come to the Lord, but we are not enjoying His presence , and when we come to Sunday worship or Bible study, we are not listening to, nor paying attention in learning the Word of God. Let us take time to focus on God's Word so that we can truly not just hearing, but listening to what God wants to say to us and truly connect with Him.
