小鼓手/The Little Drummer Boy

每次聽見美國經典聖誕歌曲中的「小鼓手」都很感動小男孩單純的心，獻上他僅有，獻上他僅會的並盡力而為來歡迎躺臥在馬槽中的嬰孩君王-主耶穌基督。當默想這歌詞時每每熱淚盈眶，有感動，有隨著小男孩鼓聲咚咚的激勵，與他一起迎接並尊崇那彌賽亞的降生。主耶穌曾説過要我們回轉小孩的樣式，就是這樣單純如孩子的心，完全獻上，完全相信並完全倚靠神的心，這是合神心意的，祈禱我們都以小鼓手這樣的單純的心來迎接主耶穌基督來到我們生命中。

「耶穌說：「讓小孩子到我這裏來，不要禁止他們；因為在天國的，正是這樣的人。」」 - 馬太福音 19:14

「耶穌便叫一個小孩子來，使他站在他們當中， 說：「我實在告訴你們，你們若不回轉，變成小孩子的樣式，斷不得進天國。」- 馬太福音 18:2-3

「我實在告訴你們，凡要承受神國的，若不像小孩子，斷不能進去。」」

Every time when I hear the classic Christmas song, "The Little Drummer Boy", I am very touched by the boy's innocence and pure heart;  his offering of what he has, what he knows, and how he welcomes the baby king who is lying in the manger: The Lord Jesus Christ.  When I meditate on the lyrics, tears fill my eyes, and I am so moved. I was inspired by the sound of the little boy's drum beats...pa rum pum pum pum.  By playing his drum he is welcoming and honoring the birth of the Messiah. Our Lord Jesus once said that we should turn and become like children, and to have a simple heart like children, which is completely dedicated, completely believing and trusting in the Lord. This is in line with God’s will. I am praying that we all would be welcoming the Lord Jesus Christ into our lives with such a pure heart and mind as this little drummer boy!
